Learn Kadazan, wherever you are

Kadazan2Go is a dictionary and quiz app for the Kadazan language of Sabah, Malaysia. It works entirely offline.

What it does

Every entry carries Kadazan, English and Bahasa Malaysia together, with a pronunciation guide. Search in any of the three, or browse by category — greetings, family, numbers, food, nature and more.

Quizzes ask you to match a word across languages in whichever direction you choose, and pay attention to which words you find difficult: ones you answer incorrectly, and ones you have not seen for a while, come up more often than those you have already mastered.

Your data stays on your device

There is no account, no sign-in and no server. The dictionary is built into the app, your progress is saved only on your own phone, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. See the privacy policy.

About the vocabulary

The dictionary follows the Penampang dialect. It is an ongoing effort: entries are still being reviewed with the help of native speakers. If you spot a word that is wrong, please get in touch — accuracy matters more to us than the size of the word list.
